Make Believe

Do you believe in love? Do you believe in second chances, perhaps, coincidence or maybe destiny, do you believe that everything is possible and that nothing is impossible? Do you believe in believing? And if you believe in love, coincidence, destiny, you believe in the positive energy, and that everything happens for a reason, is there any part of you that refuses to believe?

I believe in love, faith, destiny, life, coincidence, I also believe that everything happens for a reason. I believe that people deserve chances whether it’s the second, third, or fourth, chances are what I believe in. I believe that if you believe hard enough, that  special thing that you want or that wish you wish will eventually come true, it’s only the matter of time, and yes, I believe that timing is indeed, a lot of things, if not, everything.

In general, I believe but in my perfectly healthy mind and body, there’s a little cancerous disbelieve cell. It’s lying there somewhere, sort of waiting for my immune system to maybe go down a little so that it can unleash its negativity. I couldn’t help but to wonder if that cancerous cell exists in all of us, if it is indeed, human nature to have that ‘benefit of the doubt,’ mode and if so, how do we as a human get rid of that disbelieve cell.

I realized that it is fear that’s stopping us from believing whole heartedly, we fear that it’s not going to happen and we’ll get hurt but I realized that even if it doesn’t happen, since I believe in second chances, there’s always a next time and the best part about believing is that you believe in something, wholeheartedly, and that alone, is incomparable to anything else.

    Sabina,

Cool blog and and hello from Singapore.
I recently got bitten by the blog bug and really enjoy posting about food, travel and culture. I will be going to Vietnam with another fellow friend from US who is a blogger too. Would love it if we can meet up and feature you in one of my blog post. I try not to blog too much about touristic place where it has been over blogged. Writing about expat living in Vietnam would be a cool idea.
Hope to hear a favorable respond from you soon.

    Cheers,
    Alex
