Singapore is always happening, be it the weekday or the weekend. You’d most likely find yourself out and about around this small town that has everything to offer from the no strings attached Champagne flow for the ladies to the after party spot followed by the 24 hours restaurants.
After some excessive partying in this la la land, I have found myself sick in my bed, longing for some hot tea and an alone time. So I decided to drag my sick self out to The Book Cafe on Seng Kee Building, where SGD20+ is all you need to get a good plate of pasta and a pot of English Breakfast tea.
Simple decor, lots of sofas, and most important of all, the whole place is like a library of its own. What more could I ask for on a Wednesday night in town.
