So I am going to cheat on my 143 things to do list by adding one more item that’s already done but never listed in the first place. Planting trees on a Saturday morning, riding bicycle in the middle of the day with no sunscreen on, and being muddy the non-sexual way muddy.
As a part of our go green theme, “Green Envy Friday,” we decided to plant 218 trees, we planted 100 trees today and has donated the rest to the community to plant. The thing is who would have thought that planting trees would be very muddy as in with ants and snails and wet cold mud and just in the middle of the CITY’s forrest!

Fine, a lot of people would have thought about the muddy part, I for one on the other hand was picturing a nice cool day, dry soil, small trees, and nothing extremely full of mud. It was fun though now that I am back home in my bed and thinking about it.

As much as I wish I could say no to planting trees after seeing the mud, I couldn’t because Little Rayden (15 months old) was in his ‘Stop Global Warming,’ tee and all ready to plant the trees and he sure isn’t scared of the mud! Of course, I couldn’t let a 15 months old win me on that one!

I am officially tan, never been tan before but it shouldn’t be that bad, I will just think of it a positive color change for a positive cause. Greening might be my new activities, next time I’ll just make sure I wear a proper rain boot and jump suit to roll in the mud, and yes, sun screen.
